What is the Badger State
Dive Club?
We are one of the oldest dive clubs in the state
of Wisconsin, founded in 1964. We are a non-profit,
non-stock corporation, organizes as a social club. We are
independent of any dive shop or equipment manufacturer and
are considered to be a "family oriented" dive
club, with frequent activities for the whole family to
enjoy. |

Where and when are your
club meetings held?
Club meetings are currently held on the last Tuesday of
the month, at 7:30 p.m., in the upstairs meeting room at
Edwardo's Natural Pizza, Hwy 100 and Bluemound Road, Milwaukee, WI. It
just North of I-94 and Highway 100, at the intersection of
Hwy 100 and Bluemound Road. |

Do I have to be a
certified diver to attend your meetings?
No, all certified divers, students currently enrolled in
diving classes and all others interested in the sport of
skin or S.C.U.B.A. diving, are invited to attend our club
meetings and other activities, as guests. |

How do I join the club?
You must be a certified diver, attend one club meeting,
make one dive with the club, read and agree to the club's
by-laws, and complete and submit a combination application
and waiver form, along with payment of your first year dues
(prorated for the first calendar year). |

How much are the club
dues?
Annual dues are $25 for a family membership. This covers
all certified divers in your family, living in your
household. |

How do I become a
certified diver? Do you offer lessons?
All local dive shops offer classes in open-water,
advanced and specialty certifications. In addition, the
Badger State Dive Club has members who are instructors and
offer classes to individuals and small groups. |
