Club History

JOIN US FOR ADVENTURE & EXCITEMENT!
The Badger State Dive Club offers a range of
underwater activities for the beginning diver, as well as the
more advanced diver. Dive sites include shore entry dives in
medium depth, inland lakes, and also, challenging Lake Michigan
boat dives.
Night dives and ice dives are also on the
schedule. Our members have developed expertise in underwater
photography, ship wreck history, antique bottle collecting and
more. The club is active throughout the year, scheduling
expeditions to Our World Underwater, Maritime Museums, Shedd
Aquarium, St. Lukes hyperbaric chamber for educational
information, as well as seminars and film festivals. Non-diving
family members and friends are encouraged to attend and
participate in club meetings and activities.
Badger State Divers have traveled to such
exotic places as: Fiji, Micronesia, Belize, the Bay Islands of
Honduras, Costa Rica, the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Grand
Cayman, Cayman Brac, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Bonaire, Cozumel and
more. Trips to Door County, Bonne Terre Mine, Munising, and the
Florida Keys and Caves are annual destinations. Group trips are
planned on a regular basis.
